Josh and Anna Hardin are the owners and operators of LSF. We have been growing and building our sustainable model for the last 3 years at our Sheridan farm. Prior to purchasing the new farm, I spent the last 15 years marketing in central Arkansas for our family's 5th generation vegetable and row crop farm.
We are a small scale, diverse organic farm. We strive to embody the principles of sustainability in every endeavor on our soil. Cover cropping and composting are key on our farm and we utilize several types of fish meal and oil to keep plants healthy.
We are utilizing new hoophouse technology to grow crops we couldn’t grow before like ginger, tumeric, and galangal. With the movable hoophouse we can cover more ground, and allow our soil to spend more time regenerating and reduce the insect and disease pressure on each plot covered.
