  • Volunteer Workdays

    Garden Workdays are a chance for people to come out, learn and help with garden activities. Everyone is welcome, the more the merrier!! These workdays happen twice a week during spring, summer and fall; and once a week during winter.   • Children's Garden Club

  • Peas Take One Veggie Cart

    This program helps the garden share its bounty with library patrons during the growing season! Once a week during the growing season, the cart is rolled into the front of the library chock full of garden fresh veggies, herbs, and sometimes even seedlings. They are accompanied by nutrition information and recipes. This program was funded by a grant from the Blue&You Foundation.   • Faulkner County Seed Library

    The seed library was established in 2013 and it is the first, no-cost, seed library in Arkansas.

    People can "check-out" seeds and information about the plant and how to grow it, with the expectation that they bring back seeds from the crop they grew the next year.   • Mobile Learning Kitchen

    The Mobile Learning Kitchen allows the garden, as well as the adult and children program coordinators, to offer cooking classes and workshops to library patrons. This mobile kitchen cart was partly funded by a grant from Humana and by the Friends of the Library.
