Carroll Williams

Author Carroll Williams grew up in Bauxite and Benton, Arkansas. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and has worked in the aerospace industry as an electronic flight control technician. He earned his Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Miami in Coral Gables Florida and earned his Master's degree in History at the University of Denver.

Carroll was a professor of history at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado for twenty-two years and served the last ten years as Chairman of the ACC History Faculty. As a faculty member at ACC he conducted student tours of Mexico visiting many archaeological and historical sites in that fascinating nation.

Carroll is a self-published author whose short stories, travel adventures, poetry and essays were inspired by his life's experiences. He is a past president of the Scribblers of Brevard, a writers club on the Space Coast of Florida and is a current member of Conway Creative Writers. He loves languages and practices speaking Spanish when the opportunity presents itself. He is an Arkansas native and a resident of Conway. He has led an active life and describes himself as "actively retired."
